WildBear Beach and Hikes
There is plenty to do right at the cottage. Go south along the beach and find some great beaches, rock hunting, dune climbing, Jet-skiing and Kayaking. Here are a few of those activities picture tours.

State Park Dune Hiking
Less than 100 yards of our house you can hike in Cathead Bay Dunes. There is miles of area to explore.

Kayaking Cathead Bay
Cathead Bay offers many options to have a kayak adventure. Options like heading to: Lighthouse Point, State Park, Rock Beaches, or Open Water.

Old Baldy Hike
Just up the road is the high point of Cathead Bay. Climb Old Baldy to see both Grand Traverse Bay and Cathead Bay.

Biking Around Wildbear
Grab a bike and see the surrounding area. Woolsey Airport, Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and many out of the way places found up here.

Beach Combing
This is a favorite of my family. We take a beach walk almost daily. On every trip we undoubtedly will find Petoskey stones. Bring them back and polish them up. Many miles to explore on state park preserved lands.

Jetski Trips
If the weather permits, exploring on the JetSkis offer a bigger area to see around the Leelanau peninsula. See a shipwreck, visit South Fox Island, or pull/ride an inner tube.
